Basement Lab

This project took about two months (October to December) to finish with the holidays. The inspiration came from a concept art of Resident Evil 2 Green Room.

The main models were created in Maya from low poly to high.
Foliage and materials are from Megascans and the chair desk is from the Epic marketplace.
Poster art were designed in Photoshop with the theme of a semi-post apocalypse theme in mind.
Rendered in Unreal Engine 5 with Lumen settings.

Overall this project pushed me to focus more on composition and workflow.

Taking away the color, you can see where the main focus is on the incubators and the desk. The lighting isn't too bright to distract the viewer from the scene itself.

At first I wanted to copy the concept art completely however overtime I looked at the references I gathered and began to change it.
